Eklego Workforce Solutions is seeking an RN Director of Staff Education!

The RN Director of Staff Education supervises the staff and manages all aspects of the Staff Education department. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and assisting with nursing and facility educational programming in accordance with current and applicable federal and state guidelines. 


Requirements for the RN Director of Staff Education include:

-Current/valid RN license in NYS 

-Strong verbal and written communication skills and computer skills



-5 or more years of experience working in a healthcare facility 

-2 or more years of supervisory experience is preferred

Department-Specific Job Duties 

All employees are expected to perform any work that is needed as determined by a supervisor or manager.  This position primarily involves the following duties and responsibilities:

  1. Plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs. 
  2. Assess the learning needs of the nursing staff through formal and informal methods
  3. Utilize commercially produced instruction material and training aids in conjunction with existing in-service programs as deemed necessary
  4. Provide leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of Staff Education programs presented at the facility
  5. Develop, evaluate and / or maintain the quality of in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures
  6. Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, and in-service records.
  7. Make recommendations to the Director of Human Resources concerning in-service training programs and departmental functioning.
  8. Assume the authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the Staff Education programs.
