Eklego is proud to be leading the search for a Nursing Home Administrator for a senior care client in Westfield, NY.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to direct a long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC / SNF). Administrator will ensure impeccable compliance with state and federal regulations. The Nursing Home Administrator needs to be skilled at recruiting & retaining top medical professionals, building census, and maintaining optimal employee relations. The position requires sound business judgment, diplomacy, and positive community relations. Assures that adequate resources, environments, and services are provided to residents, ensuring excellence in resident care is provided. Willing to go above and beyond to ensure our residents' needs are met and they are comfortable in their living environment, provide staff with leadership and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.

The primary responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for leading the overall operations in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations and RCA standards, policies and procedures.
  • Assures that adequate resources, environments, and services are provided to residents, ensuring excellence in resident care is provided.
  • Exercises ethical and sound leadership decision making.
  • Willing to go above and beyond to ensure our residents' needs are met and they are comfortable in their living environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in health care administration, business administration, finance, or a medical specialty.
  • 3-5 years of managerial experience in long term care.
  • Current, valid New York State Nursing Home Administrator's License
  • 1-3 years' experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
